Sestola is the most famous ski locality of Emilia-Romagna thanks to its proximity to the ski slopes of Mount Cimone. In the cold season the focus is upstream of town where there are the localities of Pian del Falco, Passo del Lupo and Lago della Ninfa. From here starts many downhill slopes, a cross-country track (whose route surrounds the lake) and two snow-cross tracks. The other runs of the ski area are not far off, you can easily reach them using the artificial junctions. This opens up the possibility of endless combinations between skiing, snowboarding, cross-country, snow-kiting. For those who are not experienced skiers, Sestola offers many other interesting opportunities. There is the opportunity to immerse themselves in the nature and quietness of the Apennines woods walking on the snow wearing snowshoes. The trails, numerous, varied and not particularly difficult, are in fact accessible to everyone.
