Skilifts of Sestola
Sestola has lost much of its tradition and original culture because of the massive impact of tourism that has transformed it into a recreation area. There are still signs of the tradition in the typical feasts and festivals organized throughout the year.
The most typical products of the area are chestnuts, mushrooms and cheese. Not to be missed is the crescentina, also called tigella, topped with bacon and parmigiano produced by local dairies. But try even the borlenghi, thin and crispy crepes base of water, flour, salt, and sometimes eggs.
Mountain gastronomy of the Frignano area is a great repertoire of flavors to be discovered, all the typical ingredients can be bought in the lots of characteristic shops.
